EarthLink Earns Awards from Cloud Computing Magazine, Miami Latin Chamber of Commerce

We are all truly gratified by news of two awards EarthLink earned recently. First, EarthLink Business® Cloud Hosting earned a 2012 Cloud Computing Excellence Award presented by Cloud Computing Magazine. The Cloud Computing Excellence Awards recognize companies that have most effectively leveraged cloud computing in their efforts to bring new, differentiated offerings to market. “Recognizing leaders in the advancement of cloud computing, TMC is proud to announce EarthLink as a recipient of the second annual Cloud Computing Excellence Award,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC. “EarthLink’s Cloud Hosting solution has demonstrated innovation as well as the ability to improve the cloud.”

We chose to highlight our solution for independenceIT (iIT), a fast-growing cloud provider that enables VARs, ISVs and MSPs to provision, deploy and support cloud services. Our full case study and press release detailing this EarthLink Cloud Hosting solution are available to download.

And in Miami, FL, EarthLink earned the prestigious 2012 Innovation in Technology Award from the Latin Chamber of Commerce. The award recognized our community involvement in helping minority groups bridge the digital divide by offering technologically sound products at a strong value. Pictured here accepting the award are Miami Branch Manager Nelson Tarke with Luis Emiliani, Account Executive and Jose Matto, Premier Account Manager. “It was an honor to represent EarthLink in receiving such a prestigious award from one of the most influential groups in the Miami area,” said Nelson. “We were also recognized by Commissioner William Gort, who presented the award.”
