When the weather turns cooler and the frost is on the pumpkin, it’s definitely fundraising season!

EarthLink also shifts its corporate philanthropy efforts into high gear, with non-profit customers and local community charities as our main focus.

On October 12th, EarthLinkers and our network and equipment vendors came together for the 16th annual EarthLink Charity Golf Outing at the beautiful Silver Lakes Golf Course in Glencoe, AL. All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Calhoun County and the Calhoun/Cleburne Children’s Center. Last year, we raised more than $23,000 for these worthy charities.

And in Raleigh, North Carolina, EarthLink served as a partner sponsor for the Run/Walk for Autism, the biggest statewide fundraiser for longtime customer The Autism Society of North Carolina. Be sure to check out their video testimonial. A team of employees also participated in the 5K to raise funds and awareness. Thanks to all of the committed EarthLinkers who come out each year in support of these great causes. Many other efforts are underway, so watch for ongoing news about the great happenings on Planet EarthLink!
